Idea Submission & Confidentiality Notice

#Dobro does not acquire ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property merely because you describe it through the Site. You represent that you have the right to submit the material and to allow #Dobro to handle it as described in this Notice.

By voluntarily submitting material through the public Site, you grant #Dobro a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to receive, reproduce, store, review, analyze, and internally share that material only as reasonably necessary to evaluate the submission, communicate with you, protect the Site, maintain appropriate records, and comply with law.

This evaluation license does not grant #Dobro ownership of your invention, software, brand, copyright, patent rights, or other pre-existing IP. A different license or assignment requires a separate written agreement.

A public Site submission does not create an NDA, confidential relationship, fiduciary duty, attorney-client relationship, partnership, or exclusivity obligation. Privacy obligations concerning personal information are addressed separately in the Privacy Policy.

If confidential evaluation is necessary, request an appropriate written NDA or other agreement before disclosing the confidential substance. Do not assume that a conversation, meeting, demo, or form submission is confidential unless a written agreement says so.

#Dobro works across software, AI, data, physical systems, buildings, energy, IoT, robotics, operations, and related fields. We may already be working on, evaluating, or later independently develop ideas, components, features, workflows, names, or systems that resemble something you submit.

Similarity, without evidence of unauthorized use in violation of an enforceable obligation, does not establish that #Dobro copied, misappropriated, or owes compensation for a submission.

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, #Dobro has no obligation to review, respond to, develop, commercialize, license, purchase, invest in, preserve, return, or compensate you for an unsolicited submission.

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, design comments, or other feedback specifically about #Dobro’s Site, services, branding, or public materials, you grant #Dobro a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that feedback without compensation or attribution. This does not transfer ownership of clearly identified pre-existing IP embedded in the feedback.

If #Dobro and you decide to proceed with a project, the signed NDA, master services agreement, statement of work, pilot agreement, license, data-processing addendum, IP terms, or other written contract will govern the project and will control over this public Notice to the extent of a conflict.
